In a low key and intimate setting, Spelgalan 2015 has come and gone (or more accurately slipped out the back door), with accolades being awarded to the leading lights from 2014. As is now customary, the event has once again come under fire. This time for its decision to keep things small and focused, with some quarters claiming the decision to limit numbers a slap in the face of those who help shape the industry.

Away from the off stage theatrics, the event saw the return of the Retailer of the year award with Webhallen once again taking home that accolade. However, the big winners of the evening belonged to Dragon Age Inquisition and Wolfenstein: The New Order, which won Game of the Year and Swedish Game of the Year respectively.
